Can I give it more than five stars?
What a wonderful property and host! This house is tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood in Oak Harbor. It’s just what you need as a homebase for exploring the island or hanging out with friends. The kitchen is epically well-stocked – probably the best I’ve ever stayed in as a guest. I’m talking plates, bowls, cooking utensils, lots, pans, etc. Amazing! Jim even contacted us on the day of check-in to find out what kind of wine we wanted to drink! And there’s a jar of mini-candy on the kitchen counter. 😉 The house was spotlessly clean, and the furnishings look brand new. Plenty of nice towels (both kitchen and bath) and linens with lots of extra blankets. (Which I appreciated because I forgot how cold it gets overnight on the island.) My only two minor complaints are that I wish there was an electric kettle in the kitchen and that the beds were a tad uncomfortable - I was missing my memory foam mattress topper. Again, minor issue. Overall, highly recommended. I’d give more than five stars if I could.

The house was very comfortable and inviting to us. We had a long drive to get here and the home was so wonderful. There was plenty of room, it was well stocked, and centrally located. We even had the family over for game night. We highly recommend it.

Best in Oak Harbor
The home was in a great neighborhood, so clean and homey. Had all of the amenities we needed and more! The kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee, sweeteners and soft drinks and water in the fridge, the bathrooms had newer towels, q tips and make up remover towelettes. Overall it was a wonderful home, very clean and we had a great Thanksgiving holiday with family. Jim was very communicative and helpful throughout the rental process and our stay. Would highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again in the future!

Fabulous place
We loved this place. It is the best stocked place I have ever stayed at. It has everything you need. It’s cozy, beds are comfortable. The yard was perfect for the dog and the two small kids to play in. Would definitely stay here again when I come back to visit. I love how there is not a ton of rules. Ot was nice not to have to start laundry or strip the beds.

Great Oak Harbor spot
This is a very nice place in a very quiet neighborhood. All beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean upon arrival. 3 couples stayed and everyone was happy. The bedroom next to kitchen could hear all noise from kitchen so that's a better room for early risers. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook our meals, including lots of spices which we appreciated. James also left snacks and sodas which was thoughtful. James responded to all our communications quickly. Large dining room table gave the 6 of us plenty of room to spread out. We highly recommend. They also made check out very easy. A great place to stay!
