« I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. « We loved this cute scandi cottage in walking distance to sister bay! Just enough space for the my husband and 2 teen boys and me. Michelle was very responsive and gave us some great dining and teen appropriate activities! I don't know if it was our late spring/early summer timing, but the area around the cabin smelled so incredibly floral and beautiful. The inside of the cabin was clean and beautiful as well. We hope to visit again! »

« We really enjoyed our stay. The home and property is very cozy and relaxing. We saw deer in the evening and eagles every morning and evening. I did some fishing off the dock and caught plenty of bluegill and perch. I even caught a nice size smallmouth bass one evening. ( I catch and release). The home has everything you need. We did bring our own soap for the shower, but everything else was supplied. A plus was WIFI and Dish TV. Brian was a great host and told us to just call him if we needed...

« This house worked well for our waterfalls and lighthouse adventure. We recommend going to Betty’s Pies in Two Harbor, MN to eat or for shakes and carryout pie. They have a separate window just for ordering pie and shakes. They even have pie shakes. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Modern Dorr! The location was perfect -- we loved that we could enjoy all that Sister Bay has to offer (beach/waterfront, restaurants, live music, etc.), and after a quick few minute walk we were back to a super private and peaceful "home". The amenities and accommodations didn't lack a thing...absolutely everything we needed (or could think of!) was supplied. Sarah provided recommendations for things to do and places to eat which we also found very helpful....
