« Becky and Chip are superb hosts. Becky responded to all my questions and was most helpful. The accommodation is a suite with a full kitchen. It is one of the few kitchens that could accommodate just about anything that you might like to cook. The living room was very comfortable. After a long drive, the sofas were much appreciated. There were little things that most hosts don't include that I think should be called out. There was / were 1. a welcome note, which shocked me. The note...

« Great location. It was clean for the most part. However there were a lot of gnats which was irritating. It only had one window AC for the entire unit and we were there during a heat wave which didn't help. The AC worked fine, but the unit is probably just a bit too large for a single window AC. Otherwise the unit is as advertised and the landlord was good about keeping in touch and offered recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Overall a good value for the cost and it is a short...

« Lovely house with easy access to drive to Preque Isle park or downtown, easy parking. It was spacious and clean, and we loved the list of recommendations the host had left, although sadly didn't have time to try many as we were only stopping through for a night. « Honestly, when we walked into this house, we almost felt like we were walking into our home. Everything was neat and tidy, and smelled fresh. The beds were so comfortable and not once did we get that yuck feeling anywhere in the home. If we find ourselves returning to Presque Isle, we would most definitely try to rent the same house. Maureen, you are a peach! Thank you for the ease of communicating with all of the questions we had. »

« My husband and I come to Erie every July for our anniversary. Presque Isle is our little slice of Heaven. We try a new place to stay every time and this may be our favorite so far. It’s just like it says, a GEM. It was incredibly clean and well stocked. Although it was just the two of us, there was plenty of room for an entire family with three full-size bedrooms and a game room in the basement. A well working shower and several window unit air conditioners, which we always appreciate in the...

« The home itself was clean, nicely remodeled, and well-equipped with the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. However, I found parts of the listing very misleading. The photos prominently feature the beach, and the description states that the property is "just steps from Kelso Beach." While the property is near the lake, there is no direct beach access from the home. Reaching Kelso Beach requires about a 20-minute walk through a residential neighborhood. The listing also mentions watching...
