"Here’s a polished, balanced review that highlights both the positives and the minor issues: We stayed one night at SpringHill Suites Norfolk ODU while visiting Old Dominion University, and overall, it was a good experience. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues. Our first room had a broken door lock, so the door was wide open when we arrived. We reported it to the front desk, and they promptly reassigned us to another room. In the second room, the toilet flush handle was loose, so you had to hold it and push it slowly for it to flush properly. Aside from those issues, the room was clean, comfortable, and met our needs for a short stay. The location was excellent—just minutes from ODU, which was the reason for our visit. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, plus an on-site restaurant, making meals convenient. Self-parking was easy and located directly across the street for $13 per day. Overall, despite the minor maintenance concerns, we had a pleasant stay. The staff responded appropriately, the location was great, and I would definitely stay here again."
