"Easy to find, well located, onsite restaurant - which helps because Brae only has the chippie and one other place to eat and both of those close early! Eveythjng you need is here to pass through en route to Unst and beyond."

"Older property but with distinct charm. It is well maintained and clean. Good breakfast and good onsite dining. Extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient staff."
"Booking the property was very easy and the VRBO posting accurately reflected our experience there. This property is beautiful and peaceful...even the drive to the location is very scenic. The location is amazing, on the water the views are great. The property was immaculate, had everything we needed for our family of 10 adults. The property is very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The host promptly responded to any questions. What was amazing that I have not seen from other VRBO rentals was the comprehensive online guest guide that not only told you all the things to see in the area but also how to work the kitchen appliances...everything you need to know about the property was documented in the online guest guide. If you are planning a visit to the Shetlands, I would highly recommending staying here. We were very fortunate during our stay as we did not experience any rain until our last day...it was windy but no rain."
"Nice old well established hotel.I had a top floor room which looked out over the bay with a view of a Viking Wooden Rowing Boat.Room was very spacious and comfortable."
"Room was clean and tidy with on suite. The staff were friendly and took time to show us the facilities and spoke to us about the isles and the points of interest that we might want to visit while in Lerwick. Breakfast was continental and the choices on offer were plentiful including breads, fruits, yoghurts, spreads and home made cakes. Toast and a variety of hot drinks were also available. Off road parking was adjacent to the property. We would definitely stay there again."
"We were on a 3-week tour of Highlands & Islands. Owners Andrea and Paul were stupendous hosts! So kind and helpful! Food, especially dinner, was first class! We learned much about the history and where to visit. Irving, the waiter, was charming. We strongly recommend."
