"Wonderful base camp for Waterton adventures. Beautiful setting to come back to at the end of a day exploring. The mountain views are amazing while watching local wildlife, like pelicans and cliff sparrows. The kids enjoyed the lake. Fortunately the weather cooperated and we had relatively calm wind and hot weather during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Sleeps 6 nicely, glad we didn’t have 8. The master bedroom has room for an air mattress which I would prefer to the living room sofa beds , so you may want to consider taking one if you have more than 6 people. Also consider packing beach towels and camp chairs for lake use. "

"It was a beautiful place with lots of space and the views were gorgeous. Owners had practically everything we may have needed there. Only downside was we were literally near nothing so you’d have to drive into waterton or neighboring towns for things but that’s not a huge downside. Overall loved our stay thank you!!"

"It was about 25 or so minutes from Waterton, easy drive, beautiful drive. Comfortable cabin with everything you need. So quiet and peaceful with no one around, no noise, all the stars in the sky at night. We loved it."

"We were disappointed with the overall condition of this listing and the cost. The building was literally falling apart.When we arrived hot water was barely lukewarm; my husband had to go down into the basement to adjust the water heater. The water smelled terrible, sulfurous. The bathroom sink was rusty & the tub had several chips in the enamel, the flooring in the kitchen and bath was damaged; there was a large hole near the kitchen table. The steps up to the deck and entry were in poor condition. The door between the kitchen and the porch/laundry/entry area had a broken inside locking button. It accidentally locked twice during our stay, locking us in the building and had to be opened using a screwdriver. There were bat feces on a window in the living room near the badly damaged siding on the east wall suggesting bats were using this damaged area to enter the buiilding. The picture window in the living room was foggy (broken seal?). Also, this "mountain view" also looked out on the back side of a huge solar panel. There were several apparently temporary electrical cords running into or out of the building. The front door was boarded up leaving only one exit in the event of an emergency. On the plus side it was well-stocked with cooking utensils, the beds were comfortable, there was bottled water supplied. However, the cooler was cracked needed to be replaced. Overall the general condition was far below our expectation for a rental rate of over 300/night."

"Very quiet campground with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains in the distance. Our kids loved the playground area. Kitchen has basic supplies to do simple cooking. Cabin faces west towards lake. Thus, sun exposure can be super bright in evenings but you do get to see sunset over the mountains. Soonhui was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be coming back. "
