I don't think there waa any source of heat in rhe room. The fireplace wouldn't light. But we didnt need it anyways. Despite it being cold (snowed) overnight, the insulation must be good. Cute, old room, very clean and tidy. The pun across the street was excellent as well. Worst experience we had in any accommodation in all my life. The facility is old I understand, but no one would ever like to have checked in a hotel/accommodation with toilet plugged and full of crap in there. I reported it immediately to the front desk but suggested if there is a plunger in there, i should try to unclog it (that is full of poop!). Total crap!
