« Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. The kitchen and laundry facilities remain the best I have ever found at a vacation rental - we had everything we needed to cook homemade meals. Doug quickly responded to any questions or needs. « Great location, house was thoroughly clean and beautifully arranged. Would be perfect location for downtown New Iberia festivities. Parking is convenient but a little tight if you have a big vehicle. I understand it’s an alley so it can’t be helped, I’m just saying if possible, try to visit in a smaller-sized vehicle. Overall the house and hosts are 10/10 and we hope to visit again! »

« This was such a memorable birthday! From the enriching history of the property to the coziness of both inside and outside aspects of the home. Mom enjoyed the antique aspects and my boyfriend enjoyed the serenity of the lush trees - I enjoyed that it made me feel like I was in the Princess and the Frog. This was such a perfect spot filled with so many things that made it a good getaway. We enjoyed the gazebo and pond, and to our joy and surprise the little friends in the pond (alligators)!!!!...

« This was the cutest place, it was so cozy and had everything we needed and it was the perfect location. It was within walking distance to the Mardi Gras parade. The only thing I would change is the curtains. They are very light and let all the sunlight in which isn’t a bad thing, I just prefer a dark bedroom. »
