« The cottage was clean and bright. The location was convenient to many interesting towns and attractions and was in a safe and quiet area. The bonus was the sauna that was also very clean and enjoyed by both of us. This was not a 5 star hotel but a perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th Anniversary without the disturbances typically associated with a hotel. THANK YOU!! »

« My GF and I usually stay closer to Tannersville but wanted to check out this area. This place was perfect. Room was cozy and the mini living room addition to room with a pullout couch made if feel more spacious. Bed was super comfortable and had antique feel of the furniture and house. the self serve (honor system) bar and array of board games made for a nice relaxing night in by the gas fire place. The coffee and grab and go fruit/snacks, muffins was timely and perfect for starting out our day....

« I was in the lower level suite with king size bed, living room and kitchen. It certainly went beyond my expectations and was very affordable. The historic house is beautifully renovated with attention to detail. To Make matters even better , there's an unbelievable French restaurant one block away. « The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river...

« We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way. »
