« This rental home makes it feel like home. Everything we needed was provided. Easy checkin and communication with the owner, Jeff, was quick and pleasant. Loved the babbling stream in the back yard. « My boyfriend and I took our Moms to see the colors. The area is absolutely beautiful! It is peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is SUPER clean. We had all the necessities we needed plus some. The owner is very friendly and has great communication. We definitely recommend and will definitely be back! »

« We loved our time at the cottage and the views can’t be beat. Sunrise was incredible and it was fun to watch the freight ships pass thru during the day. The cottage was very clean, comfortable beds and bedding and so well equipped. Honestly it was more than we expected. We would definitely return! »

« We had 2 adults, 4 teenagers, and 2 dogs and had a GREAT stay. The house was huge with plenty of rooms and beds. The kitchen was big with plenty of room and lots of staples. The grounds were perfect and it was extremely convenient to be able to bring our 2 dogs with. We had a great stay, even though we ended up not seeing the northern lights. I would definitely recommend this house for anybody traveling with pets and/or family. »

« Great location in Mohawk to explore the Keweenaw peninsula. This is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood that was quiet. The house was super clean with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen! I would absolutely stay here again. Tyler was very responsive to any questions we had and when we experienced an unexpected snow storm in April, someone came out immediately to shovel/clear the drive way. Would highly recommend!! »

« Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone...

« They converted what appeared to be a former business, and it was fabulous! Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale. »

« I would visit this place again. My biggest complaint was the wifi dropping in and out (which is huge considering the limited cell coverage area), water had a funny smell (but i think it area related), and if your fat like me, getting over the rail to get out the bed is an issue (but my athletic 13-year-old also complained on that matter). Outside of these 3 issues, i recommend it. »
