"Cute house in convenient location, but BEWARE the train horn at 4 a.m.! Alas this is not something anticipated and it is NOT the fault of the excellent hosts. But the house is located one block from a train crossing without gates and for 3 nights we were awakened by the loud blast of a train going through each crossing (there are about 4 of them about 2 or 3 blocks from the house). The train has to blow its horn at crossings without gates and the first night it woke us out of a dead sleep we thought it was a tornado siren. Scared us!The house itself is pet friendly, and has gorgeous wood floors, stocked kitchen and coffee bar, two tvs, a nice writing desk by the window, two bedrooms and two ac units in windows. We had the heat on for one chilly morning and it works great. Loved the front porch with all the windows overlooking the street, and there is a fenced backyard for pets/kids. Plenty of hot water for showers as well. Because it's in a neighborhood with sidewalks, it makes for a terrific walk in the morning as well. In summary, we loved the house and the location, except for the train horn waking us up."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable but I didn't like the tile floor which was old and had some cracked tiles in the bedroom. I like to have carpeting in the bedroom which is warmer to walk on. The person at the desk was not friendly and did not inform us on what was available. The breakfast was pretty sparse and the room was not pleasant or inviting. If you need a place to sleep, it fits the bill but the rest is not impressive."

"Place was amazing and it was great for kids. Only concern is that 1 bedroom does not have an AC unit in it and got pretty warm for the couple that stayed in there. Other than that it was a great stay"

"The house was absolutely stunning, clean and fresh. Everything you need to cook a meal was available and the kids loved having their own rooms! Beds were super comfortable and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. The location is also great, close to stores if you need anything and so many cool things to go do! I recommend the lighthouses and the dinosaur gardens!"
