Un personnel charmant et à l'écoute, un "english breakfest" copieux, la possibilité de manger sur place le soir et de profiter de l'ambiance "Pub" si britannique bref un endroit à recommander. Surtout ne pas chercher à entrer en voiture A Durham le "park and ride" est très bon marché et le bus vous dépose en plein centre ville (pour 2 £ par jour) »

« The accommodation was lovely although a little tired in places. We stayed in a Geo Dome (D2) and although the weather was not ideal due to Storm Dave the room was warm and comfy. I slept well enough and toilet not far from the dome so no real issues. The thing that let the place down was the service in the pub/restaurant. We had a table booked for 8pm, turned up ten minutes early ordered just after 8 and at 9:10pm we had to ask if we had been forgotten about! We had but the chef reopened the...

« Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la jeune dame, et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison. L'ambiance du pub est incroyablement conviviale, avec des locaux discutant joyeusement. C'est l'incarnation même du cosy anglais. Notre chambre était un véritable havre de paix. Elle était impeccablement propre, décorée avec goût dans un style moderne et épuré et offrait une vue à couper le souffle sur les collines verdoyantes. Le lit était confortable, et après une...

"Nous avons eu le cottage 1\. Nous avions reservé pour 5 adultes, il n'y avait que 4 couchages. Pas de gaz à la cuisinère, 3 couverts pour 5, fuite au plafond, pommeau de douches tenu par un sac plastique....et j'en passe. Personnel complètement dépassé. Je ne comprends comment ils ont encore l'autorisation de louer ce logement. Les photos du site sont malheureusement très trompeuses. Le cadre semble idyllique mais la réalité en est tout autre. A éviter à tout prix..."

Elle était impeccablement propre, décorée avec goût dans un style moderne et épuré et offrait une vue à couper le souffle sur les collines verdoyantes. Le lit était confortable, et après une longue journée de marche, exactement ce qu'il nous fallait. Les petites attentions, comme \[mentionnez les petits plus, ex: le plateau de thé et café avec des biscuits locaux et les articles de toilette de qualité, ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin a été la cerise sur le gâteau, nous a donné l'énergie nécessaire pour notre prochaine randonnée. Ce qui distingue vraiment cet endroit, c'est l'atmosphère et l'attention du personnel. C'est plus qu'un simple hébergement, c'est une véritable immersion dans la culture locale. On sent la passion et l'engagement des propriétaires pour offrir une expérience mémorable."
