"Visiting for a local concert for my daughters birthday. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The pool was cold and the hot tub is out of order which was a main reason for choosing this hotel. Online this place looks like a resort, However the pool was a major selling point for this trip and it was very cold. The staff here were amazing. We had lunch there and the food was great. We had to switch rooms due to our AC unit leaking and the maintenance man Tom was very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and supplied us with fresh towels. Overall it was a nice stay. We likely wouldn't return but only due to the area has so many other options for nicer pool areas."

"Very peaceful and quiet, and probably among the very best, most expansive views on the entire lake. The room was larger than expected, very clean, and it had a large bathroom as well. Absolutely worthy of a five star rating."

"Our stay at Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte University Place was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. This was easily the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Every area—from the lobby to our room—was spotless and well maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The secure parking was another huge plus, especially in a large, unfamiliar city. It gave us peace of mind and made us feel very safe throughout our stay. The staff truly stood out! Everyone we encountered from the front desk, housekeeping & the dining staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep. We felt relaxed and well-rested. The food was another highlight. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, with plenty of delicious options. The evening reception with free drinks and popcorn was such a fun bonus and really set this hotel apart you don't often find this included in the price of your hotel stay! Everything about our stay was spot on. We will absolutely stay here every time we’re in Charlotte and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"Rooms need to be cleaned, packed down dirt, bedding had holes and hair on them, door didn't seal. Lots of noise hard to sleep in a dirty loud room"

"First room toilet was plugged 2 room we had a flood no reimbursement for anything always had to ask for towels had to ask to get my butt changed. I had to take out my own garbage most of the time so I would not recommend yes that did come with a free breakfast, but it was all bread and cereal he’ll related no eggs."

"The hotel was adequate but understaffed and no restaurant/breakfast on site. Upon checking in the fee for a pet was triple the posted rate on Expedia (which was unexpected). Upon arriving to our two room suite, one of the air conditioners was not working - no maintenance on site and no other rooms available. I was told I would be contacted by the manager however no follow up ever occurred. I would recommend looking at other nearby properties before booking this one."
