We stayed in one of the cave rooms which was much more airy and larger than I expected. The room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The hotel gives you a choice of breakfast in your room or the dining area. We tried both and enjoyed the variety. The view from the hotel is simply stunning with an incredible view of one of the famous stone churches on the hill. All the staff at Hotel Caveoso were helpful and had wonderful tips for dining and touring options. Everything we wanted to see in Matera was within walking distance from the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay." Ma, l'hotel è molto confortevole, possiede un vasto parcheggio gratuito, è ubicato in periferia (cosa che in una città piccola come Matera è realmente ininfluente) quindi senza le problematiche della ZTL e del traffico mattutino urbano. La colazione è ottima e variegata (potrebbe migliorare se le bevande calde fossero preparate a richiesta e non con la "macchinetta", che non fa un caffè o un cappuccino di qualità adeguata al gusto di un cliente italiano). Stanza confortevole, ampia, con tutte le dotazioni necessarie (apprezzato l'angolo di lavoro con scrivania degna di questo nome, poltroncina ergonomica e punto luce).
