Le Petit Tramassac
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (40)
"The apartment was in a perfect location to explore the old town, as well as being only a short walk from the metro and bridges to other parts of the city. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment itself was a wonderful, comfortable haven to return to after a day of exploring. It was good having the kitchen and a washing machine available. Not a problem for me but do be aware that it is up almost 60 steps, some of them quite steep, if mobility is an issue. "

Fourvière Hôtel Lyon
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (928)
"Gorgeous restored building full of history but all the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. Very friendly french speaking staff with just enough English for us with my broken French. Breakfast was excellent. Nice bar for drinks and snacks. We did not use the restaurant for dinner so can’t comment. We went into town for those meals. Amazing views of Lyon and easy walk to Basilica and funicular to ride down to the old city. Clean modern subways and above ground trams letting us explore...

Grand Hotel Des Terreaux
4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (838)
"Very nice hotel, I stayed for 2 nights. No parking on site, the streets are extremely narrow so be mindful as you drive. There was some shenanigans going on outside on the street a bit of a fight. At night the area might not be safe but during the day is fine. There is no parking at the hotel, but a few streets down there is a large, very clean underground parking, so that was fine. I would say for sight seeing the hotel is well located, walking distance from a lot of attractions, including the...

Hotel Silky by HappyCulture
4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (763)
"The hotel was situated very central in old town of Lyon, very close to many restaurants, sights, and tours. Rooms were snug, couple of the floors did not have elevator access. The bath towels were pretty low quality, might be our only complaint. AC worked really well so that’s a huge plus in France. Have to get your own water from the main floor, hopefully they have caps for the bottles as they did not when we stayed here. "

Collège Hôtel
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (605)
"The hotel is nestled in a very busy neighborhood with tons of shopping and dining options (of course most busy after 8 PM. If you have a car contact them in advance for pre-paid parking in their garage (we didn't know this). Finding parking could be difficult, but since we were a late check-in the let us keep our car in their two-slot check in area. The breakfast was very good with the usual assortment of carcuterie and some decent creamy scrambled eggs. We'd go again."
