The highway incorporates 2 ferry crossings. It has a busy harbour and it is an access point to Desolation Sound & several offshore islands. It's a quiet place, out of the way and has a beautiful setting with the snow-capped peaks of Vancouver Island across Georgia Street on one side and the green rise of the Coast Mountains on the other. Si cela ne nous a pas gêné pour dormir, c'est vraiment dommage car l'usine cache la vue de la jolie baie de Powell River. Ensuite, c'est un hôtel dit "boutique", en hommage à la mère du propriétaire et aux années 50: c'est un amoncellement de meubles et d'objets pas particulièrement beaux mais qui ont en commun le fait d'être vieux.
