« This is a little gem in Montecito! We stayed here with our family of 5 (Our children are 19-24). The house is well represented in the photos and the overall vibe is clean, cozy and serene. We are from Texas and are accustomed to A/C, but this house doesn't need it at all. We visited during August and the windows are screened in and well placed providing lots of natural light and a cool breeze. « Fully equipped kitchen with lots of room to work and appliances were in good working condition. I would only recommend adding a non-stick pan compatible spatula. How to use the futon as a bed was not clear but we figured it out dnd the futon was comfortable. For some reason a phone msg for assistance was never answered but it was not critical. « The house was as wonderfully quirky as advertised. So many interesting handcrafted details to admire. Stunning location. My only complaint is that while the kitchen is very well outfitted for cooking there are absolutely no supplies on hand. Not even salt and pepper. There is coffee and tea but be prepared to bring everything else. »
