"The check-in folks were great: personable and funny! This is not a new property, but it's in decent condition and is well-run. The restaurant and bar are good, too: prompt and friendly staff serving good drinks and breakfast."
"This motel was excellent! Check in was easy and the gentleman was very helpful with a map of the area and dining suggestions. The room was very clean and bright, with a window from which you could see the ocean. I liked the table and chairs, where we could plan our next day and have a snack of our leftovers, reheated in the microwave. Tv had quite a few channels. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if ever in the area. "

"My long distance partner and I were able to meet in yachats for a short getaway! The location was perfect, the weather was even ideal. The house was a great size for two people, the hot tub was such a treat along with the dual headed shower. Will come back again! "

"The Overlook provides a perfect location when staying in Yachats whether for 3 days or for 2 weeks. During our 2 weeks we loved starting each morning with a dog walk to the local sandy beach. Morning coffee and pastry at the Green Salmon was just a block away, as were out-to-eat options at the Luna Fish House and Drift Inn. Plus the grocery story is just a block away. We loved that daily walks allowed us a choice to access the rugged rocky coast or miles of sandy beaches. Of course, we always loved returning and spending time at The Overlook with its comfortable amenities and amazing view!"
"Yachats is one of my favorite locations on the Oregon and I was so happy to share some time there with my family from the Midwest. We loved the quirky decor of Sunset Vista and there was plenty of room for the five of us to spread out. Highly recommended."
