Boat, swimming beach and campfire site available by the lake (distance 500 m). Kuhmo hunting areas and fishing waters nearby. 45 km to the north from Kuhmo city center, lake Vuosanganjärvi 500 m, shared boat beach, swimming possibility, shallow sand beach, pier. Wood-built house, originally built in 1949, expanded and renovated later. On the ground floor, living room, bedroom with 2 beds, sauna, washroom, dressing room and separate WC. On the upper floor, bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with 2 separate beds. Covered terrace. Cooking hut. Fence, doghouse and run cable for a dog. Ski trail maintained by the village committee near the house, length about 5 km. Log-built cabin (Honkakämppä) on the top of Palovaara hill can be used as a base for nature excursions, distance 3 km. In winter, there is a ski trail from the cabin to the Honkakämppä. Fishing: 5411 The Northern Ostrobothnia-Kainuu angling permit allows you to fish with a fly or a lure on state owned waters located in Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu (www.eraluvat.fi). The advantage of this angling permit is that the adult’s permit allows the whole family to fish, and it allows trolling with max. eight rods too.
