As you pull into the Devonshire Place neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and create a fabulous first impression of your vacation home.

Every member of the family can find something to enjoy here-- even your pet! The Bermuda Bay community is widely known for enjoying sunset viewing and quiet vacationing. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this wonderful resort include a lazy river, sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features lots of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a fitness center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and fitness center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.

If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches. Your colorful vacation accommodations at Purple Palace will brighten both your day and your spirits! Here, you will enjoy a true rarity on the Outer Banks - your own private garage! In addition, your three-story home boasts a fenced courtyard, comfortable furnishings and plenty of thoughtful touches.

As you enter through the front door, you find yourself in the cozy living room outfitted with seating for 6, a flat screen-TV and a unique double-sided fireplace. Step through to a bright kitchen with tile floors and plenty of cabinets and counter space. The dining area boasts beautiful hardwood floors and seating for 6. The other side of the fireplace is perfectly situated between kitchen and dining rooms.

On the second level are the bedrooms. The King En Suite has a lovely sitting area with a chaise lounge and access to a deck. What a perfect spot for reading a few pages in your book or losing yourself in quiet thought. A Queen bedroom and bedroom with two Twins share a Jack 'n Jill style bath.

Have some fun in the third level loft area with seating for 5, flat screen TV, foosball table, and Roll and Score game (similar to Skeeball). The kids will feel like they've got their own private hideaway with slanted ceilings and the feeling of "away from it all".

Purple Palace is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $155, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

This property has 4 parking spots for guests.

Trailers, U-Hauls, and campers are not permitted in the Bermuda Bay community.

The Bermuda Bay community private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 1 to May 17. Beginning May 22, the pool will be open daily and close on October 1 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

Weekly Discovery Memberships are $100 per person and can be purchased through the Village Beach Club website. KEES guests will receive an exclusive deal after booking your vacation rental for $25 off per person. Children 2 and under are free.

Parking passes are required for the Village Beach Club. Pricing is dynamic based on demand, with a maximum of $15 per day or $45 per week. The Village Beach Club pool is open from May 20 to October 1. The pool is open daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm with lap swimming available from 8:00am to 9:00am.
