« I could not say enough great things about this property. It was incredibly clean, the coffee each morning was a wonderful touch, and the hot tub was amazing. Being able to cruise around on the bikes was phenomenal, and both the shower and bathtub were exceptional.The hosts were fantastic as well. « Absolutely recommend the sunset surf shack for a little getaway in OBX. The hosts Amber and Brett have a lovely home and were great with communication and any recommendations that you may need help with during your stay. Local to the beach and with what they offer in allowing use of the bikes for the path or if you want to take a paddle out in the bay they are very kind to offer that. Highly recommend staying again if we get the chance. Thank you again Amber and Brett for having us with you guys...

« The location was the best part of this property. It is right by the beach and only a few minute walk will get you to the shore. The cleanliness is the biggest issue with this property. The property was filthy especially the kitchen and bedroom areas. The bed sheets had a horrible musty smell to them. The bed is also very uncomfortable and possibly broken. The utilities all worked fine in the kitchen but nothing was cleaned properly. »
