"I visited The One during off season and covid mitigation rules, and due to this circunstances, I was surprisingly the only customer in the whole large resort. I got very warm welcome and free upgrade to a seafront apartment. Nothing major to complain other than the TV in the apartment did not work, neither did the wifi for some occasions. "Beautiful looking. Clean pools. Friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing white sand beach. Aggressive monkeys. Appalling food hygiene - got ill on 2nd day. Left on 4th morning when I was well enough to travel. Hot food not actually hot. Orange juice watered down so it was a pale yellow colour. "The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly."
