« Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. »

« Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Es liegt an einem steilen Berg auf 1.200m Höhe, empfiehlt sich also zum Akklimatisieren zu Beginn oder auch wieder am Ende einer Tour durch Costa Rica. Die Anfahrt lässt sich auch ohne Allrad bewerkstelligen, ist aber etwas steil. Dafür entschädigt die Aussicht. Das Team das sich um das Haus kümmert ist auch sonst immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, großes Lob und Empfehlung! »

« We loved the house…so comfy and well laid out. Lots of unique features. We had so much fun, cooking together, playing games together and exploring San Jose and the surrounding area. The children were in the pool most of the time we were at the house. The housekeeper, Jessica, made us a fabulous breakfast, Costa Rican style, on our last day at there! So glad we chose this house to stay in. »

« This property was built exactly as the pictures show. You can hear the ocean waves with the doors and windows closed. There is an A/C wall unit in each room and not in the open living space. The breeze blows through the house well with the windows open. This is how it was when I arrived. The waves and breeze, just beautiful. « A magnificent villa offering a splendid view of the mountains. an intimate garden surrounded by palm trees where it is good to swim and sunbathe. This is our second visit and enjoyed it even more Piet served us well with the first grocery which was already at the villa when we arrived and transport us to the airport. We enjoyed the gardener, his wife and the family very much. Warm, endearing, discreet and very helpful people. It was a perfect stay with lots of sunshine! »

« The house was gorgeous and was exactly what was reported. The pool was incredible and the views were spectacular! The place was secluded which gave us opportunity to see and hear the birds, monkeys and frogs. The only downside is the 3.5mile gravel road to get there. It was rough and took us about 20 minutes to get to it once we left the main road. »
