My place is close to family-friendly activities, the airport, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
The space
This house comes with a full kitchen, all utensils and cookware available. Also a whisper quiet dish washer.

Wonderful home for family vacation
Great location and neighborhood. Excellent communication with owner. The home would be perfect with a little TLC, and updating. Missing a woman's touch. The pool was wonderful, although not heated. Other than some minor issues that were quickly resolved, we had a great vacation and enjoyed the property. We would come back again.

Great location and nice home.
The home was lovely and my family and I enjoyed our stay. Stores were conveniently located nearby and the beach was only a 20 minute drive. Everything was clean and check-in and out was easy.

DO NOT STAY HERE
We've never left a review before but this is something I never want another person to experience on vacation. As we pulled into the property there was an old dryer in the driveway. We walked into the property to find the floors covered in black grime and dirt. The pool was NOT heated as the description advertises. The trash bins outside were overflowing with beer boxes (you are apparently required to take the previous tenants trash out during your stay). Lastly, prescription pills were found in the kitchen and masted bedroom on the counter and floor freely accessibly to our minor children. The host offered for a representative to come "review" the property on Easter morning and then lied to VRBO stating he offered us a cleaning service. We asked to check out immediately and for a refund for the remaining days because the property was not safe for our family. He refused to do anything for us. We checked out of the property and stayed at a hotel. The property will not be cleaned before your stay and the host is terrible to deal with. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Below Expectations
Unfortunately there are many negatives with this property: Lack of cleanliness - the counter and tabletops were dirty, like old spaghetti sauce drops crusted on the table dirty. The dishes and silverware had dirt on them and everything had to be washed before it could be used. Lack on cooking utensils - there are plenty of pots and pans, and at first glance there were plenty of cooking utensils. When I actually started cooking I realized essentials like spatulas and tongs were completely missing. Lack of any everyday items - the pantry had a bottle of cooking oil and salt and pepper shaker, but that was it. Anything else needed to be purchased. Lack of furnishing - the house is mostly empty, causing an echo effect. This meant if you wanted to watch TV the echo would reverberate throughout the house and was difficult to hear in the actual living room. No TVs in three of the four bedrooms. The shower curtain rod in the hallway bathroom wouldn't stay up, meaning everyone had to use the same shower. A pool cleaning guy showed up unannounced while the pool was in use. The hot water is not very hot. All showers required only using hot with no cold mixed in. The water pressure is also very poor. The pool is supposedly heated, though this also didn't really seem to be the case. We tried both using the pool cover when it wasn't in use and leaving the pool cover off during the height of the day, but the temp seemed to be the same regardless.

Sandalwood in Jacksonville.
Centrally located between Jacksonville Beach and downtown Jacksonville was sandalwood. Very nice place with a very nice pool located in an extremely nice neighborhood. Close to just about anything you could want. We did have a slight problem with a small kitchen appliance but Timothy took care of that faster than I would have imagined. Great place with great management. Thank you Timothy for a great stay.

Cute place with nice pool but could use some work
The house was clean and we enjoyed the heated pool but the house shows its age. Other than the pool, the landscaping was sub-par for a Florida home. The kitchen while stocked, was not labeled so it was a constant opening of each drawer to find things. Check-out procedures called for cleaning all the dishes and silverware but there were no dishwasher tabs or soap to do this.
