Newly paved, private road. New kitchen with all wood cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully equiped with all the essentials. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs bedroom has full bathroom with shower and is separate from upstairs and opens to carport. Home is perfect for four adult plus two kids. We have lots of great dockage for your boat. The large dock/seawall area extends 90 feet and includes a nice cut-in slip. The dock includes electric, water. There is also a cleaning station on the dock. Also there is plenty of room for trailers on the side of the home. It's all about the boating. There are several local boat ramp options close by. Keep in mind that trip insurance is available and is recommended. There are many options including through VRBO or other mainstream recognizable third party providers. This was our first trip to the Keys and the Irvine's great canal house is right in the middle of everything! As the many other reviews stated, the house was bright & clean and ready for an active family. We didn't see any manatees in the canal which made my duaghter sad-- and we realized too late that having our own boat would have been a good idea.... This home is not large, but layed out well and never felt small to us.(Great use of the square footage) It is very clean, beds are comfortable, tv’s and internet work great, space under house is wonderful, yard area is nicely maintained with plenty of chairs to relax. Boat dock area is nice with water hose & fish cleaning station. It was great that we could bring our dog, he loved it too. (You will need to bring a cable or keep your dog on a leash as yard is not fenced in) The kitchen has to be the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen at a vacation rental. I was impressed by how much the owner has provided. I wish we had a hot tub since no pool, but with our boat, we kept busy. Chris, the owner, was wonderful in communicating with us and answering all of the questions I had on where to eat, where to launch the boat, etc. He responds very quickly when you have any questions. I would recommend this home when traveling to Islamorada. ##### C K. The house was perfect for our needs. We had ample space for our 32 center console including space for our trailer and 2-3 vehicles. The house is close to the end of the canal so boat traffic was minimal. Communication with Chris was great. We had an issue with the ac when we woke up we made contact at 6am and he had the Ac back up and running in just a few hours. We would stay again and recommend to others. ##### david r. This canal front home was exactly as described - Fresh, Clean, and Relaxing! The kitchen and outdoor grill provided all the essentials for cooking our fresh catches. The updated appliances worked perfectly. The home was very clean with updated bedding and decor. The outside was nicely landscaped. The home was pet friendly which was necessary for us. This home is the perfect set up for visitors bringing their own boat. We were able to store the boat trailer at the home. The additional downstairs storage room contained a deep freezer for bait and ice… an added bonus for the fishermen! The docking area easily accommodated the boat, the fresh water access at the dock made cleaning up easy, and the fish cleaning station was perfect. The short commute down the canal provided convenient access to the Atlantic for snorkeling and fishing adventures. Alligator Reef is within view and provided an opportunity to view fish and sea turtles in their natural habitat. Mahi Mahi, Yellow Tail Snapper, Red Grouper, and Mutton were the greatest catches on the Atlantic side. Our daughter had an amazing time fly fishing the Everglades with Nate from More than a Little Charters out of Bud and Mary’s. The home is super convenient to bait and fuel by water. By land, you are convenient to Publix, Bass Pro, Robbie’s and great restaurants! Manatees were regulars during rain showers! They love to drink the fresh water draining from the sea walls! Chris is an excellent host! Can’t wait to book again! ##### Lisa G. We come down to the keys once a year in June for a week every year and this was the perfect spot. Super clean and updated. Everything you need to cook anything in the kitchen. Great water access to the ocean or the bay right around the corner. We kayaks and paddle boards down to the end of the canal every night at sunset. Communication was fantastic. Very responsive. No negative comments whatsoever. Will definitely stay here again. ##### Travis U.
