"We booked our stay and flights through Expedia.ca and chose Vistalmar mainly because it was close to the airport and because the suite we booked had its own little private pool, which I thought was such a cute feature. We weren’t sure how large or busy the property would be, but it turned out to be quite small, with only around 14 suites, so it was very peaceful for the most part. There is also a larger pool at the front and another at the back, and many times when we used them, we had the entire pool to ourselves. We mostly went in the evenings or during the afternoon when we came back for a little break between activities. Our suite was extremely clean. We had a small kitchen, which was really convenient because we were able to prepare some of our own food. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. I honestly have no complaints about the room or our stay."

They were wonderful hosts, always checking in and greeting us warmly without ever being overbearing. You can truly tell how much care and thought they put into making their guests feel at home. The property itself was everything we could have hoped for and more. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful oasis garden, refreshing pool, and amazing outdoor setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything we needed was provided, and the entire space was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Even their sweet dog was a lovely addition and never a nuisance. If you’re looking to experience the real Aruba rather than just the typical tourist areas, this is absolutely the place to stay! We loved walking around, exploring the neighborhood, and soaking in the local atmosphere. For places a little too far to walk, like Palm Beach, we took taxis, which typically cost us $20–$30, including tip. One thing that truly stood out was Dirk’s kindness. We had a last-minute issue with our ride to the airport, and without hesitation, Dirk got up at 4 AM to drive us himself! That level of kindness and hospitality is something we’ll never forget. It really shows the kind of people Dirk and Mariel are. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hospitality, peaceful surroundings, beautiful property, and genuine kindne"

"This was, without question, the best Vrbo experience I have ever had. The property is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained. One of the best features is that everyone had their own private bathroom, which made the stay extremely comfortable for our entire group.The house was spotless when we arrived. The linens and towels were fresh and clean, and the home had every amenity we could possibly need. The pool was outstanding, and the waterfall made the outdoor space feel like a private resort. We spent a great deal of time enjoying the property because it was just as relaxing and enjoyable as the attractions around the island.The location was also excellent. We were within approximately 10 to 15 minutes of many of Aruba’s major attractions, restaurants, beaches, and activities. The host was gracious, attentive, and responded immediately whenever I sent a message or had a question.I cannot say enough positive things about this home and the hospitality we received. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend this property to anyone visiting Aruba."
