We loved the rain on the metal roof and all the frogs/toads chatting to each other at night. This is a beautiful, remote location to escape from the bustles of work and the internet. We enjoyed the forced disconnection and truly felt relaxed on the property. Because there is no internet, I recommended downloading a map of the area prior to coming like we did. Note that the winding mountain roads may be tough on some cars. I would recommend an AWD or 4x4 vehicle for this time of year. I estimate 4x4 may be necessary once snow begins to fall. Things that could have improved our stay include different beds as we both slept poorly while here, blinds for the windows, more kindling and dry wood indoors for the fire as the wood outside was wet, and a map of the area with suggested restaurants/things to do. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin, it's close proximity to Asheville, and the beautiful environment surrounding us. We recommend! ##### Logan D. From the cozy fire pit outside with crickets chirping, to the clean and spacious interior of the cabin, I must say that we were very sad to have to go back home once our time was up.
