  • If you are looking for a place to stay on The Homer Spit overlooking The Homer Harbor this is the place for you. It is Located directly behind The Salty Dawg Saloon and upstairs from The Salty Girls gift shop.
    Enjoy all of the benefits of the spit life~ watching the boats come in and out of the Harbor right from the living room windows, beach walks, great restaurants, gift shops, watching The Buttwhackers fillet fish and spending time at The Salty Dawg Saloon.
    This cozy one bedroom upstairs apartment offers everything that you need to make yourself at home.
    Kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, silverware , glasses, coffee pot, tea kettle and is stocked with misc cooking utensils etc.
    Bathroom is shower with bathtub and is supplied with toiletries . There is also a washer and dryer located in the bathroom.
    The bedroom has a queen size bed with full linens , blackout shades and plenty of room for you to store clothes.
    Living room has a reclining chair , reclining loveseat, smart tv system, monitor heat to keep you warm
    The views are absolutely spectacular from every window . You will not be disappointed.
    The Salty Dawg does have live bands that play out on the back deck throughout the summer so noise level can get loud at times. This location is not for someone who is looking for a quiet place to stay.

Best property in Homer. Overlooks the Marina, we love having our morning coffee on the deck watching the boats leave. Very functional kitchen so that you don't have to eat out every meal. We will definitely be back

This home is as described, clean and perfectly located. The designated parking was a bonus as well as the spit was very busy! We also had a question for Donna. She was not only quick to respond but very accommodating. Highly recommend.

This is the third time I've stayed at this location, so that should be a good indicator of overall quality! Donna is great with her communications about check-in, parking, amenities, etc. The property is clean and the location is just amazing. Will continue to book here in the future!

This place was much more than I could have imagined. Modern and clean. The location was perfect and the big deck was spectacular. Enjoyed watching the boats come and go and unloading the days catch. Were able to watch out the back the fish from the charters and taking photos. Definitely will stay here again if I get another chance to come back to Homer.

Stayed here two nights while in Homer. Could not have asked for a better location. Large deck right on the Spit overlooking the harbor. Enjoyed relaxing watching the boats and fishermen coming and Going. The sunset was gorgeous and the otters were so cute playing in the water. Took the Danny J ferry for a beautiful evening on the water and dinner at Halibut Cove. A short drive to Bishop Beach to do some tide pooling and many Eagles at Anchor point. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The apartment was large, modern, and very clean. Was nice having a washer and dryer to do up our laundry before moving on with our Alaska adventure. Would love to return and stay again.

Five stars is an understatement for this unit and the host. It would be like calling a supermodel cute. It was cleaned to hospital standards, it is in the center of all the action, minutes walk to restaurants, bars, gift shops etc. you get gorgeous views out every window. The host is exceptional and help me through some tech issues. I doubt you will find a better location or unit in Homer and beyond..
