"Charming hotel. Staff was very nice and conversational. It felt like the real Swiss German experience, not some tourist trap. It's a pretty old building with no air conditioning, but is very charming. Breakfast is pretty basic, but the staff made an effort, even providing American style filter coffee. "This hotel is unique. It has a big kitchen that everyone shares. You can use the fridge, plates, silverware, microwave etc. It also has free coffee and water. We didn’t realize it had a washer/dryer until the day we were leaving. We would have loved to been able to use that the first day we arrived. We stayed in a room for 4 people. It was clean and beds were comfy. The location is right in the heart of town. We walked 6 minutes from the train station. The only thing that was strange was the shower in the room. It was a see through mirror. If you turn the light on, then everyone in the room can see in the shower. Overall, a cute place to stay."
