"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. "

"I didn’t want to have a party to celebrate my 80 birthday, I decided that I wanted something more intimate, so I searched online for a large house in the Dungeness area. Waters Edge came up and it looked ideal for what I was looking for! The house surpassed our expectations and I couldn’t have wished for a more memorable experience. Right from the start we all enjoyed stay. Our family decided to cook our meals in the fantastic kitchen. The house had everything we wanted and more. Watching the sea from the upstairs lounge was so therapeutic! Will we return - definitely."

"House was nice but there was building work going on which we were not advised about prior to booking. This meant we had no access to the beach as advertised and on the first day lots of noise and diesel fumes. This made it difficult as we were looking after grandparents with mobility and breathing issues. We understand that building works happen but feel that we should have been advised before booking so that we could make more of an informed decision about the booking. "

"We had a lovely four days at Beach haven great location and thd house was fabulous, there was nothing we didn’t have in there for comfort it was spotless and instructions for arrival and departure were easy Road was quite busy first thing and around 5ish but it didn’t bother us and it was great to be able to cross over to a sandy beach and sand dunes with our dog Around 15 min drive to Dungeness and only 25 mins to Hythe , takeaway food nearby although collection only and cash only too local Spar two minutes up the road and the fish and chip shop by the jolly fisherman pub the best we’ve had in ages ,so all in all a good break away"
