« What a lovely place on the water. Really relaxing view and everything you need to just chill for a few days. Lots of hiking nearby, and the best restaurant in Duluth is a short drive up Scenic Drive (New Scenic Cafe). Highly recommend. »

« We loved the property and beautiful gardens surrounding the house. The location felt like you were out in the country, but you are 10-15 minutes from anything you’d need. Keene Creek Park is a short walk down the road and there is an Artesian well along the way. Great trails for walking, hiking and biking nearby. The accommodations in the house were good. The bedrooms upstairs can be challenging to regulate the temp during hotter weather and not having a bathroom on the upper level can be an...

« This is a very comfortable and beautiful place. It was very clean and comfortable. They had everything we needed. We did have a lot of trouble with the front lock not letting us in so we did have to go around to the back door a few times. This is definitely place that left us with some fond memories and we would look to come back to. »

« Perfect for three quilting friends. Each of us had their own room and lots of space for projects and work surfaces. Great amenities and kitchen well equipped. Fans to keep cool. Bathrooms are on 2nd floor and downstairs may pose more of a challenge for those with knee problems. »

« we loved staying here! the fire pit was great and barbara and derk left plenty of firewood. we also made great use of the grill! perfect for a small group with quick access to downtown two harbors and nearby state parks. »

« It was a great getaway. The house and location where amazing. Just a little issue with a few of the games that we were looking forward to using. The oven didn't seem to heat properly when making pizzas the top was done but the crust was still doughy. The only other thing i would suggest is the handicap ramp to get into the property had a piece of wood making it hard to get onto the ramp itself. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. »

« We stayed in house 3 for Grandma's Marathon weekend and it was perfect! My parents, daughter and my brother & his family all stayed together and we had more than enough room! It was great to be able to all stay together and so close to Canal Park for all of the marathon weekend activities! We stayed in house 1 last year and had such a great experience so we knew we wanted to stay in another of Heather & Steve's places for this year! We have already booked for next year with them and cannot wait!...

Plenty of room to spread out and nice amenities.Our host was terrific and responded quickly to any questions we had.The only negative was that there is only one bathroom and it is on the small size. For our family, it was inconvenient.Still fantastic in every other way. »
