« We had an amazing stay! This was perfect for transporting our soldier to his AIT at Fort Lee. It is 5.3 miles from the base, so we were granted a Family Pass for the weekend. This is a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a Food Lion right down the street, and a nice backyard for grilling and chilling with our Soldier. Wilcox Lake is close by too for Fishing! There are window units for AC, but they do a great job at keeping the house nice and cool. The Corn Hole was a big hit! And all the TVs were...

« The house is a three bedroom fully finished home. Two bedrooms upstairs, and a spacious primary suite at the bottom level with a half bath (sink toilet no shower). Main bathroom is upstairs. Backyard is great for kids, it has a playground and corn hole. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen sink was difficult to set to cold, and I love to drink ice cold water. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends in the area, 9/10 would stay again »

« The location was excellent for travel needs and was close to shops that were needed. The house and yard was overall clean. Check in was easy. James was accessible if needed. We felt safe in the neighborhood it was quiet and there were cameras that made us feel extra safe. »

« Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different...

None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs. »

« Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals. »

Everything was clean and the location was great for venturing to different parts of town easily and quickly.A heads up to visitors (and nothing the host can fix), locals speed down the street in front of the house.
