Clean, spacious rooms in a great location. Close to all the necessities. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast had a great variety and was kept well stocked. Staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Eat hotels stayed at in Virginia to date . Great amenities we utilized the fire pit area which my family loved . They even had a basketball court that my kids loved and supplied the basketball . Breakfast was average but good and they really couldn’t keep breakfast stocked because the volume of ppl but everything was still so great and I slept so comfortable . Everything was amazing and we will be definitely returning.

Welcoming Environment

I had been to a wonderful Residence Inn in Joplin, Missouri years ago. This hotel matched it. There is a basketball court near the front door, which signaled to me that you could relax here, even if you were here on business. That’s a nice message.

Hi class luxury in Chester VA. The fully equipped luxury suite will blow you away. That fireplace set the perfect mood on a cold November night. I really did not want to leave my room. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Super clean, very quiet, delicious breakfast and coffee. The staff was very friendly and extremely professional. I will defiantly return.

Front desk staff upon arrival was unprofessional, slow, preoccupied. First room keys did not work. She put me in a different room. Did not apologize, no eye contact, etc. Property was very nice however, and very quiet. Breakfast was very nice.

Ample parking, free. Friendly and polite staff. No issues with the room essentials; warm, clean, piping hot water and comfortable bed. Very spacious (king suite). Breakfast plentiful and varied, hot and cold. Barely anyone partaking at 0845, so seating space was not an issue. Plastic cutlery and polystyrene plates. Annoying room TV glitch if you’re a ‘Firestick streaming person’ - the additional HDMIs don’t work if the hotel’s feed is plugged in. Unplug the hotel HDMI and the TV remote becomes inoperative, so no volume control for when your device is plugged in and the default TV volume is way too loud! It’s a shame that hotels do their best to prevent total stay enjoyment - just protecting their wifi, I guess..?

Very good

Overall, this was a very good stay. The staff was friendly and honored a request for additional blankets and pillows within minutes. The pool was clean and a good temperature. The hot tub was clean and hot, but the jets would not turn on. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was not the most comfortable. When we arrived in the room the AC was on and it was cold, so I turned up the thermostat a degree just to cycle off the AC. Later in the night, despite turning the thermostat back down a couple degrees, it never felt that the AC cycled back on, so it got a bit warm for my comfort. Of note, there is a Mexican restaurant across the street, Jalapeños. It was delicious and great service.
