"This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. We love it as it is dog friendly, clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill station, hammock and kayaking during sunsets. The views are incredible outside and from the inside. We stayed off season so it was quite chilly, but you can always warm up in the indoor sauna:). Great hiking opportunities in the nearby state parks (Newport and Death Door Bluff), The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!"

"We had a nice stay here with 3 adults and our dog. Everything was as described. I have mobility issues, and much of the reason for choosing this booking was that it is all on one level. I was able to get around with my walker in the cabin. I will say that I did have some unavoidable difficulty with the front steps to enter, which could be improved by the addition of a handrail and possibly even a ramp, but this doesn't affect my rating, as it was a known factor when choosing the listing. "The views are spectacular! So relaxing with the water And waves rolling in. If you want a secluded and nature filled vacation this is the spot! You can also head into the busier towns for shopping and restaurants. The owners are wonderful people!"

"My husband and I LOVED Timberline Cottage! The cottage was lovely, comfy, and a peaceful getaway. We especially enjoyed the screened porch, where we listened to birds and recharged. We had everything we needed, and the decor is so thoughtful and iconic of the area. The owners are amazing hosts. Kelly was incredibly gracious. I cannot recommend this cottage and this couple more. And the area is incredible!"

The location is away from the busyness of the towns on Highway 42, but not so far away that it hinders exploration of the popular spots in Door County. "Our stay was fabulous. The house is beautiful, clean and plenty big. The pictures don't do it justice. The house provided so many amenities - garage access, laundry usage (detergent available), stocked kitchen, games, bedroom necessities, etc. The host was easily accessible and quick to reply. The home is in a great location and close to Door County's local attractions. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. We hope to back real soon."
