« We stayed at this beautiful property winter of '25. Although lake properties are traditionally a summer getaway we loved every minute of our winter retreat. « Our son got married in EC on Saturday and we had a small gathering of friends and family over for an ouside BBQ for rehearsal dinner and drinks Friday night. Kitchen is great with two larger nice refrigerators. Outside area perfect for an outdoor get together - very pretty and private! Plenty of parking for guests. « The Galloway House was so cute! Stayed there for a friend's bachelorette and it was the perfect location to be in walking distance to everything in Eau Claire. It was decorated nicely, very clean, and the communication with the owners was great. Would definitely recommend. »

« Very well stocked home. Inside and outside. Very comfortable for the 9 of us. 5 adults and 4 kids. We ate most meals in using the well stocked kitchen and the blackstone and grill. Enjoyed the outdoor fire table and fire pit. Successfully fished off the dock. Kids played in both the front and backyard. Wiffle ball game was fun! « Great space!!! We were in town for a pickleball tournament that was super close to the property. Walking distance to great supper club and a couple little bars. Surprise bonus was the public beach across the street!! I’d stay here again for sure! »

« We loved the ability to put our kayaks and bikes in the secure garage. Downtown was close as were multiple bike trails and entry points. Chippewa Falls was an easy drive, and we enjoyed visiting Lake Wissota. The house was cute and had everything we needed. The location is not a resort type area; the surrounding neighborhood is family and student oriented. It was a quiet neighborhood. The closest restaurants and downtown amenities are a 15 minute walk, but everything is an easy drive. »
