"This was possibly our favorite stay of the trip. It was a little tricky to make it this far with public transit but it was so worth it! The staff of the hotel was so friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The dinner here was delicious. The surrounding area is just so beautiful. "Had a really good short stay at Kings Hotel Chiayi. It is located a short 5 mins walk from the train station which is helpful if you were taking the morning Alishan Railway or connecting to any of the other cities. About a 10 min walk from the night market which had plenty of food options. Breakfast was included, nice clean restaurant, plenty of food choices incl. Western. Overall highly recommend if you are passing through Chiayi and looking for a comfortable stay before or after your Alishan trip."
