"All of the staff, from reception and in the bar and breakfast are excellent as are the rooms and hotel but the food at night is 1star, I've stayed a couple of times and numerous items on the menu are not available and when served the quality of food is really poor and expensive. Breakfasts are very good and lots of fresh food available. A real shame about the evening food. A good reason to eat out."

This is not quaint medieval Lincoln ( 12 min walk away) and the surrounding environment is harsh and full of ugly, student accommodation blocks. Big car park to rear but difficult to find as road signs are poor. Hotel signs also hidden by new building next door and not located on the street address."
