« What a gem of a spot! Serene lake views with sunrise and sunset colors. Kayaking across a lake like glass. Watching turtles pop up and herons fly across. A cozy cabin with a little hot tub to sit in while you relax and look at the view. There are great hikes near by. We highly recommend the Garden of the Gods observation trial and Ferne Clyffe. »

« I had an amazing stay! A quick little get away from all the Hussle and bustle of life, I stayed for 3 days. It was so quiet and peaceful, close to all the things I wanted to see. I went to go see Garden of the Gods. The property was clean and well kept, the trails on site were well kept and beautiful. »

« Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simply appointed and has necessities. Quiet area directly on the Ohio River, not far from Garden of the Gods. About thirty minutes from Harrisburg. We drove in and ate at Morello's one day and The BBQ Barn on another day. Both good choices. »

« We had a great stay at the camper! Caught some bass out of the pond. Tasted some wine while chatting with Steve and Debbie and cuddling their cute new barn kitten and puppy. Shotgun Eddys, nearby restaurant, had some great food and an awesome bloody mary. We went and checked out some beautiful scenery and took a dip in the swimming hole nearby. The hot tub was nice and we had a really nice, relaxing weekend here! »

« The stay at this location was excellent. Great walking access to downtown Grand Rivers. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed watching deer and turkeys every morning and evening. The location was quiet but close to creature comforts. Being close to the local grocery store was super handy. »

« We could not be happier with our stay. The house was the perfect size for our group of 6. The dock was a great feature to have and allowed us to be able to keep our boat in the water the whole weekend. The house was super clean and very well taken care of. I will definitely rent this house again for future trips to Lake Of Egypt. »

« Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend! »
