![This picture was taken on Main Street in Galax, Va. These are fiddles that spell "Love" in four glass shadow boxes beside a music store called Barr's Fiddle Shop which has been in Galax for 40 years. Fiddles are one of the main instruments that mountain music is based on. When this music first started it was called hillbilly music which then later was called blue grass. When I saw this driving down Main Street, I knew that I wanted to take a picture of it because of the musical aspect and the history behind it. Because I have had a lot of experience of the Appalachian mountains, bluegrass is something that "characterizes a mountaineer", especially the older generation. This picture represents the love that mountain people have for this musical entertainment. This is shown through the annual Old Fiddlers Convention which occurs an entire week in August for the past 82 years. "Our room was very clean, all staff were very helpful and welcoming. This is our 2nd stay at this location, we travel with our Dog Bailey a large Rottweiler and they accepted her with no issues. (she is a very sweet laid back girl!!). I highly recommend this location."

"The yurt is absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was lovely. It's positioned so that you can enjoy the creek and unlike many hot tubs I have experienced, there was no mildew smell at all I was very impressed. It's a perfect size for two people as well. The yurt is well stocked for anything you could need, soap, spices for cooking, cookware, doggie bowls, games, and more. Even in frigid temps the yurt stayed warm and cozy between the minisplits and the pellet stove. My dogs had a blast playing on the property with the host's dogs and having space to run around. The host was wonderful, super friendly and accommodating. She was also very quick to respond. She let us make adjustments for our safety during a visit that included winter weather and travel advisories so we were able to have the full experience we booked and make it home safely! Can't say enough good things about the entire experience if I could give six stars I would!"
