« Barry was an amazing host. When we arrived he gave us a tour to show us the smaller details of the property and explain some of the history - we loved the tour. The experience was so much fun. The property was well stocked with everything you need, kitchen was well stocked to host a dinner. Bathroom and laundry supplies were there to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Galway and recommend Ballindooley to anyone looking for a unique experience. »

« The cabin was fantastic- had everything we needed for a 3 night/ 4 day stay. It is fairly remote so id say plan accordingly but thats what we loved about it! Ammenties in the cabin are great ( even used the dryer after a really nice day at the beach to quickly dry some bathing suits ) overall great, hoping to be back soon!! »

« Beautiful house, modern fittings, clean and nicely decorated. Pretty flowered garden all around. Quiet location, with stunning views, to the west, so guaranteed sunsets. Easily driveable roads to it. Easy check-in with neighbour. Everything is done for you to feel welcome. One small thing, bedrooms 2 and 3 are in the annex, with connection only through the outside. Not a problem at all for us, but it might the case for a family with young children. »

« We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again! »

Le côté typique traduit par une décoration vieillissante et usée nous a un peu déçu (ensemble négligé et poussiéreux- ménage à parfaire dans la finition). « The location of the house was enjoyed by the whole family! The 3 youngest loved being able to go straight down to the sea when returning from excursions when the weather allowed! We took advantage of the wooden chairs in the garden in the evening: a good beer, a good book, a good jacket with hood and what a pleasure to watch the sun set behind the clouds or the Errisbeg Mountain (which we climbed with the four children)! We found the seclusion and calm that we wanted to experience in Connemara....

« Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
