Lillaz being a town in the municipality of Cogne, is part of the Gran Paradiso National Park, from Lillaz along the paths you can get to Valnontey, the valley from which you can admire the largest glacier of the Gran Paradiso massif, that of the Tribulation.

Precisely because inside the Gran Paradiso National Park you can count five valleys: to the south, the Valnontey, which leads to the slopes of the Gran Paradiso; to the north, the Grauson valley; to the south-east, the Urtier valley and the Valleille; towards the east, the Gimillan valley.
