« The elevator had broken down, but these things happen. The ice machine on the third floor did not work. The door trim to the bathroom was coming loose from the wall. The paint on the ceiling of the shower was falling down. The hotel felt dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived to check in. We called back to some offices, but no answer. After 10-15 minutes, we called the hotel and someone answered. He said he would be right there....
