The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate. We especially enjoyed the location. There is a charming small local market with fresh hams, cheeses and beverages across the cobblestones. Within meters is the Strada Restaurant with amazing pizza and grilled peach, prosciutto and mozzarella salad. And also restaurant La Cucina de Patrizia that served the best Risotto Pescadera. All with lovely outdoor dining. If you’re going on a cruise out of the port Civitavecchia then research ahead of time how and where to pick up the free shuttle bus because you cannot walk to the cruise dock as pedestrians are not allowed.
