"My stay at the Quality Inn and Suites in Vernon, BC, was excellent. I found my room to be clean and well-maintained, and the queen-sized bed was comfortable - although I did not find the separate switch for the lights over the bathroom sink, so be sure to look for that (or ask someone!). I did not have daily cleaning (by choice), and I did not interact with staff at all really, other than seeing the housekeepers in the hallways and asking a question or two at the front desk. At those times, they were friendly and helpful. I did not eat breakfast, but the dining area appeared to be clean and well-stocked every day. (Friends of mine ate there and had no complaints.) I had an efficiency suite. The small kitchenette was equipped with cutlery/dishes/pots and pans, a microwave and a two-burner cooktop, as well as a full-sized refrigerator, and dinette set (two chairs + a small round table). Two things that I would have expected to see in this space that WERE NOT there were a kettle and a toaster. Other than those missing items, everything in the room was fine. The location was perfect for my purposes; however, it is a very busy corner, and there was a lot of noise in the area until late into the evening. In addition to the regular sounds of traffic, there were often loud cars driving by, with drivers revving their engines. Probably not much can be done about that, but I am mentioning it for people to be aware of, in case it may be a problem for them."

"If you need to stay near Vernon or Coldstream, stay here, no question. Yvonne is an amazing host and will cook you an amazing breakfast. She is very welcoming and helpful. Great wooden lodge, location, shower bed and internet and very quiet. If you need anything to eat in the evening use a food delivery app, Yvonne will help you sort it out, otherwise you can drive into Vernon, too far to walk. We would recommend Maaza Indian Kitchen in Vernon, huge portions of excellent curry."

"My friend and I rented this spot hoping for a quiet time to read and relax for a week. Unfortunately we did not realize that this suite is a walk out basement suite where you have to go down long stairs that my friend found a little trying over the week.Things I truly enjoyed about our stay, the suite in question has a wonderful layout with comfortable beds and is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen including extra spices.The hot tub on site is well maintained and the area outside is nicely put together with a swing the kids would love. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning to start our day.I would rent this place again with my children for a skiing holiday in a heartbeat. It is the perfect suite for a small family looking to be up early and go out on the slopes or hiking trails all day.My only issues with the suite were, it is located beside a very loud roundabout which made it difficult to have the windows open to cool the unit down in the evening and they control the AC, we had to ask repeatedly to get some cool air in the unit, halfway through our stay we realized the vents were all closed minus the one by the front door.It is a basement suite, so the upstairs occupants woke us up daily with scrapping chairs, as someone who lives on a farm, it was hard to relax/sleep through that when our holiday was a sleeping/lazy holiday. Summary- great for an active family looking to be out all day, not for a relaxing quiet girls trip."
