You can indulge in your favorite shows and movies when you pop the TV out of the cabinet in front of the bed. And when you simply want to enjoy the balmy air, sit on the private balcony. Before bed, utilize the kitchenette to whip up a delicious treat before turning on the partial air-conditioning and tucking under the high-quality linens for a good night's rest. THINGS TO KNOW This property is located on Caye Caulker's north side. This is separated from town (and from where guests would arrive by plane or boat) by a small channel called 'The Split'. This means the transport of guests for check-in is recommended to be organized by our concierge and comes at an extra cost. It involves a taxi pickup at the boat terminal/airstrip which then heads north, crosses 'The Split' on a small barge, and drives a few minutes north to the property. Guests are approximately 10 minutes away from town by bicycle but still have to cross the channel on the barge and pay a small fee at every crossing. Swimming at the beach and pool is at your own risk. Parking notes: No parking available. This rental is located on floor 3. Dock details: Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. The top floor studio was everything we could have asked for with my wife and I staying there for 5 days. The property itself was well maintained and the top floor view was unbelievable. Bikes were a great help to explore the north side of the island. It is the quiet side but an easy pontoon ride from the water taxi to the southside's abundance of restaurants and nightlife. We stayed in the top unit with a 360 degree view. The property was peaceful and quiet, safe and secure with locked gates. The dock was beautiful. The property is on the north side of the split requiring a short water taxi which only added to the adventure. The unit was clean and new and the people who work there are the best! The suite is comfortable, safe, and very clean. Being north of the spit meant we had a quiet and private space. The Split water taxis are easy to use and are a unique piece of culture. The taxies are available by arrangement to pick you up at the private dock! One significant issue that the owner should address is that there were not enough bikes for all the guests.
