« A great accommodation for what we needed it for. A 60th family celebration. House was really clean, beds comfortable and felt the house was spacious and loved the open plan feel of the downstairs. Patio area great, hot tub great. All the family loved it. And it was compounded by the weather being sunny. Didn't manage to get around the area aswe wanted to use the property facilities. »

« When we arrived, the lodge was spotlessly clean. It’s in a perfect location with wonderful views all around. Me and my wife would just sit and watch the horses trot by and the Red Kites loop around the sky. The Hot Blast trail is a great way to burn a few calories after breakfast and gives even better views from up around Neilson’s monument. We will definitely be back. »

« Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. « It’s a nice hotel in need of some investment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, but the restaurant was unbearably hot, air conditioning is required or at the least the ability to open windows for fresh air. Thank goodness there was a conservatory where you could have dinner. »
