« there was lack of clarity around whether my AARP or AAA membership was applied; although I was told if I didn't use it when I made the reservation on line; It probably wasn't applied. I mentioned it when I checked in but they never asked for my card to verify my membership. »

« This is not where we normally stay in Decorah. Booked due to availability. Please do not stay here. Service poop, toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. Had to ask three times for bath towels on our second day, they didn't have any clean. Not enough for all rooms at the time. We made it work but never again. »

« Such a great place to stay. We had a lot of room, and it's in downtown so we could walk to restaurants and shops. Plus we had a very tasty breakfast! We will plan to use Goldfinch Suites in the future!! »

« Loved it! The only suggestions we have are to get a more comfortable couch and to put grippies on the stairs leading up to the bedroom (they were a little slippery while wearing socks). The whole place was very clean and well equipped. The scenery could not be beat! »

« Very beautiful property, all 5 of us enjoyed our stay very much. There was only one down thing, and that was the lack of cellphone service. Strangely enough, my cellphone was the only one of 5 that had the internet (Verizon service), so everyone used my phone to access the internet and make calls. But other than that, our stay was 5-star across the board. »

« Cabin was cozy, especially with a fire going.We had a great view of the stars and a meteor shower at night. Local recommendations for sights, food, gas, firewood, etc were spot on. Some of the cutlery/ utensils weren't completely clean (maybe from the previous guest) but we clean before using regardless. »

« We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...
