Came here as a solo traveller and LOVED it. The single room was a little small, but perfect for only staying a couple days. The bathroom + shower were also very small, but considering I’m only 158cm/5’3, it worked out well. However, a taller person may find it a bit uncomfortable. The location was perfect. It was only 10 min by foot from the train station and about 15 min from Cardiff Castle. I also had an issue the first night with the heater in the room so I complained to the staff. Not only did they fix the heater while I was gone, but left a portable one in case the normal one stopped working again. This was one of my favorite hotels i’ve stayed in as a solo traveller and I’d definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel

The location of the hotel is amazing, very close the Cardiff central station making it the best place to stay. The room is clean with no complicated check in/check out process.

A little private gem in the heart of Cardiff

Comfortable stay, easy check-in, very kind and helpful front desk personnel and within 5-minute walk to Cardiff Castle, restaurants (Pasture and The Welsh House) and 8-minute walk to Bute Park! Best location, everything within walking distance.

Welcoming and professional helpful staff. I've stayed at a couple of premiere inns and this one was by far the best. Not only was the layout really good and facilities not just rescrited to the rooms but overall design spacious.

All as it should be

Nice and centrally located hotel. Room was nice and spacious with Tea and Coffee making facilities, TV and a bathroom with shower. Everything one needs for a stay. Centre of town only 10 Minutes away on foot. Easy and fast check-in and out!

Cardiff accommodation

The place is ideally situated not far from the main streets for shopping, restaurants and pubs. Car parking is easy in the street, £14 for 24hrs. Our room was a nice size with a very comfortable bed, but the only complaint was the awful smell from the shower/toilet as the drains needed a serious clean.

We came to visit the National Gallery which was easily accessible from the hotel and the railway station.I have walking issues but everything was so conveniently accessible.The bed was excellent-no lumpy mattresses etc.-and afforded a good night's sleep.We appreciated being able to make tea and coffee in our room.The view of the stadium was inspiring-an interesting architectural building-and we could enjoy the sound of ducks on the river Taff!. Altogether a very happy experience.Thank you.Martin and Lucie

Nice little place

Brilliant little place to stay, good for just coming and going when you need without the hassle of keys. Parking was ok outside on the road. Very clean and tidy, just no hot water in the sink tap which was weird as you cant wash unless having a shower but overall great place to stay for a cheap short stay.

Ideal cost effective layover

Perfectly cost-effective option for an overnight stay/layover. You get exactly what you pay for however, the room's could really do with a fabric conditioner so there's no linger smoke smell which was off-putting and the reason why it's not getting full marks. Great central location opposite the stadium

Great location, but weird the facilities

Great location, staff are nice. But the hot water is very unstable, never hot enough, even though I have to switch it on 25 minutes prior, which is waste of water. I have requested a king bed, but they have only put 2 twin beds together which is not very comfortable. They charged ￡5 for luggage storage, which usually i have offered dor free in other hotels.

Nice place but could do with a little work.

Loverly room nice and clean a couple of patches of mold in bathroom but tbh the room is so small and hot with no airflow it is not surprising. Checking in was a bit of fiasco staff really did not like being disturbed but was sorted after they read my checking in email and looking at their records

I get it doesn't reach 35c plus many times in Wales, but the room was very hard to sleep in with just a cheap fan that moves warm air around, the prices we pay to stay you should invest in Aircon as it will work to warm air not just cool air...
