« On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

« A wonderful little apartment right in the centre of Brixham's bustling port surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. The Walks in the area lead to breathtaking views and a reward of a cocktail at the end of the day at liberty's is always an agreeable option. Mr Jenkins was incredibly helpful and sent us an impressive list of instructions on how everything worked. The bed was really comfortable and the property is clean and beautifully thought out. Can't wait to book again! »

« We really enjoyed this quirky cottage. despite its age it was clean, cosy, and spacious. Appreciated the historical notes. Very interesting. Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing. Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. The fire already laid up. However, surprised that other basics seemed to be overlooked\*.All nearby NT locations well worth a visit. We were lucky with the weather. Thank you! ...

"Séjour agréable, nous avions une grande chambre avec une très grande hauteur sous plafond. On sent que l'hôtel mériterait une bonne rénovation mais c'est fonctionnel. Le plus appréciable était la piscine couverte que nous n'attendions pas (la piscine fermée est la piscine extérieure). Bon petit déjeuner à un tarif honnête (10£/pers) avec du choix (continental+english). Emplacement parfait pour découvrir le front de mer de Torquay."

"Hôtel bien situé à quelques minutes du front de mer et du centre ville. Accueil sympathique. Le hall, le bar et la salle du restaurant sont chaleureux. En revanche la chambre est un peu vieillotte et la salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation ! On entend beaucoup de bruits (personnes qui parlent dans les chambres d'à côté, plafond qui craque à chaque pas dans la chambre du dessus, etc). Petit déjeuner simple mais correct. Parking devant l'hôtel ou dans la rue."
