"We had a wonderful stay at the Saucy Willow Inn! Our room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the lake. Our hosts Stephanie and Dave have restored this beautiful property making sure to keep it period correct as much as possible. We would highly recommend a stay here at Saucy Willow and would definitely be back! "

"Staff was very nice and pleasant. Rooms were very small, and not that clean. Breakfast they didn’t have a lot of variety, ran out of food very quickly. Parking was hard to get we had to park down the street as the parking lot for the hotel was very small and it was full. So we had to walk 5 minutes to our car. "

"Hotel well located, very clean and parking not an issue. There were several issues, however. The coffe machine was hard to operate, but I suspect that it was not working properly. Also, the tissue box in the bathroom was completely empty. Having said that, I will return to the same hotel, provided the I can enjoy a hot cup of coffee upon waking up in the morning.:) "

Parkview Cottages Resort

2/10 Terrible

"We had a very disappointing experience at Parkview Cottages Resort. The cottage was not properly cleaned upon arrival. there was hair all over the place, bugs inside. Since my wife is 31 weeks pregnant, cleanliness and comfort were extremely important for us. We politely requested if a cleaner could come the next morning, but instead the owner reacted very rudely and asked us to vacate the property immediately around 10 PM. Because of the situation and the stress it caused, we decided to leave and drive back home late at night. Later, the owner did call and apologize, mentioning she was under stress, but the overall experience had already become very upsetting and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this was not the relaxing stay we had planned, and I would not recommend this property based on our experience."

"Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly the pool and hot tub were not maintained at all. The floor of the pool had chunks missing. The hot tub was cool and I guess it's cheaper to put up a sign that says the jets do not work instead of fixing the problem"
